Chinese For Breakfast… Again?

Leftover Broccoli with Garlic Sauce – and cashews. And fried rice. What could be better?

Oh yeah, mixing in some packets of that extra hot "chinese mustard" stuff. Woooha!

It's a good breakfast. 😛

Sounds like a Cactus Joe early bird special.

Hey, there is a China Buffet in Fort Atkinson I am going to go ahead and endorse. Ate lunch there a couple days ago. Decent spread.

Anyone know why Chinese food buffets have ice cream? The Chinese don't generally eat dairy. My understanding for the cultural context of this is that China's historical enemies, the Mongols, ate lots of dairy and it became a sign of inferiority in ancient times (you know, back when everyone knew Kung Fu and defied gravity when leaping up trees and the sides of buildings).

I think I went to the China Buffet YEARS ago. (I forgot it was there!) I prefer the China House in Whitewater – I've always had good food there.

Now the China Dragon in Fort Atkinson. Yuck. YUCK! I've gone there 3 times over the last 2 years. The first time was OK but the last 2 times. Horrible. I gave them that 3rd try because I didn't believe that it had been as awful as I remembered. The vegetables seemed almost completely uncooked, and the sauce (there was so much of it that it was almost a soup) tasted like burnt garlic. Somehow they turned Cashew Chicken with Garlic Sauce into Burnt Garlic Soup.
