Remember The Post About The Indiana Jones Fedora?

I think that's my longest blog post title ever.

Anyway, I really like that fedora, so much that if I found one that looked like it (and was $70 cheaper) I would buy it. But that brings up a few issues.

How would I avoid being "that weird guy that wears a fedora presumably to stand out and be noticed as the guy with the fedora"? It's one thing to wear a baseball hat around in public, another to wear a winter-ish hat around (especially during the summer), but a fedora? I can't really see myself making it work.

Also, hat hair. Assuming that the first issue was a non-issue, I can't wear a hat everywhere. At some point I would have to take it off, and at that point my hair would look like I had been wearing a hat all day. I guess I could get my hair cut even shorter.. that might solve that.

Most importantly though, wearing a hat like that almost requires that you fight bad guys and search for treasure. I'm not really sure I want to engage in such activities though. Usually such adventures end with getting the girl (which I already have. yay!) and cliffhangers leading to the next adventure – which just seems unnecessary. But, just in case, please refer me to any bad guys or ancient hidden treasures that you may know of.

unless you can really pull it off, there is not many guys who can wear a fedora without being that "weird creepy guy wearing a fedora" maybe give it a try and take some critical friends along for some really honest feedback. you'll probably have to pull of some badass treasure hunting skills and whip-cracking abilities just to prove you are worthy enough to wear a fedora.

Well, that's reason enough to get one.
We'll go to a fedora shop and you can help choose. Do they have fedora shops up there?

I've never heard of a "fedora shop"….if nowhere else you can wear your sexy fedora within the toy factory. 🙂

Will you wear a pink one?

I actually have fedoras. I have two. One was part of a halloween costume. The other is just cute. But I don't have a pink one. If we can find a pink one…i'll wear a pink one. But we can't wear fedoras at the same time cuz then it's not sexy…just lame.

bad timing to start wearing fedora. hello. indiana jones. why don't you just start wearing a black cape when The Dark Knight comes out.

I will number my responses to moose.. as so:

    1) Indiana Jones is in the title of this post. I'm well aware of the timing.

    2) Capes are just silly, and it's way too likely to get caught in something, like an escalator or elevator.. or other -ator. I like my big coat because it feels kinda like a cape.

    3) I'd much rather dress in tribute to my boy Heath Ledger.

I still slightly confused about why Heath is your boy and why you refered to him by his first name that night like he really was your best bud. Why did you like him so much?
