IDEA: The Game Of Life

Assign point values to random and trivial things that you do throughout the day. Try to get others to compete, knowing that they'll probably turn you down – this is ok. They're still in the game even if they refuse, they just lose at the end of the day because they have no points. If this is the case, make sure to inform them at the end of the day that they've lost.

I have 380 points so far.

Waking up: 50

Getting dressed: 10

Remembering that I don't work today before getting ready: 20

Standing in my garage and waving goodbye when it's 17 degrees outside: 300

    Great idea for a game!

I remember talking with someone (not sure who anymore) about the board game The Game of Life and how outdated it is. You HAVE to get married and have kids. They thought the game should be updated to include more realistic choices of today, such as same sex partners and not having kids or not going to college. I thought that was interesing and totally agreed with that person about updating the game. Quick, someone get on the phone to Procter and Gamble!

It was last week.. one of the people we were eating chinese with. Right before the conversation twisted to 'religious tolerance' and I had to sit there biting my tongue. You got the spring rolls with 'sweat and sour sauce'. Remember? 😛

Days with 10 points or less are the best.

Days with less than 10 points get the "10,000 point lazy-day bonus" bonus. That word looks really odd, especially twice in a row.
