Happy Douglas Adams Day!

Over 2 years ago I posted about my labeling of 10/10/10 as "Douglas Adams Day". At the time it, my post seemed to be the only page making such an announcement… today though, a lot of "Happy Douglas Adams Day" posts are showing up all over the place. Am I a trendsetter? Yes. Totally.
Ahead of the curve? You know it!

In celebration of Douglas Adams Day, if you haven't read "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy", go check it out from your local library. If you have read it… don't forget your towel today.

For a minute I thought you were speaking of John Adams, and I thought, "John Adams wasn't our 10th president." Actually, let me look up who is–i don't know… John Tyler. I know NOTHING about John Tyler. In fact, I don't even remember his name being one of the presidents. Wow. My brain.

So. 10/10/10. It would be cool of John Tyler was born on November 10. Or died on November 10. (March 29, 1790 – January 18, 1862). I would like to know if John Tyler did anything on one of the November 10th of his presidency. I just googled: "John Tyler" "November 10"; and got nothing on the first page of results. I wimped out and left. Certainly there has to be a place to find out what John Tyler did on a November 10th.

Oh wait! He wrote a letter about Abraham Lincoln's election! (tl;dr – he was not a fan)
