Felt Weapons

Q: What could be more fun than a felt hand grenade?

A: A felt medieval flail.

mp_industries has a small gallery of weapons made from felt. Check out the softer, gentler side of pain and destruction.

Felt grenades are so cool! Too bad nobody on etsy produces any. Etsy needs a suggestion box for all sellers.

spudart.. that's a great idea. But what if there was a site where you could submit your ideas and rank other people's ideas? Something like IdeaBattle.com?

felt grenades win….it would still cause a lot of damage with the explosion but it would be soft to the touch. felt flails wouldn't be that much fun at all since it couldn't inflict any pain, lol.

i can't wait for the official launch of ideabattle.com 🙂

Katie, felt tends to not actually explode.. even when shaped into a grenade. 😉

My felt explodes all the time. It's kinda embarrassing. I'll be sitting on the train and all of the sudden, *ploof* there goes the felt again.

visit your local dollar store. There's a good chance they are selling toy grenades. Not felt ones. But squeeze the handle and they make a ticking sound and then an explosion. The last two dollar stores I visited both had them. I have one in my arsenal.

I don't know why, but I always feel awkward going into a dollar store alone. For some reason it just feels more like it should be a group activity.

I go into my dollar store alone all the time. It grants me freedom to be in the toy aisle as much as a I wish. It also allows me to look through the packs of baseball, pokemon, and WWE cards as much as I desire.
