Chocolate Covered Gummi Bears

You know what's good? Chocolate covered raisins. You know what else is good? Chocolate covered peanuts, strawberries, and lots of other things.

And what's just really awkward? That's right: chocolate covered gummi bears. I don't know who thought this crap up, but I wish they hadn't. It's a waste of chocolate!

I'm slightly-more-than-half tempted to suck the chocolate off of all of these, put them back in the little bowl, and then cross off the "chocolate covered" part on the slip of paper sitting next to them.

    you gummi bear sucker!

You know what else is really bad? Gummi bears on ice cream. It's so bad, that it's NUMBER ONE on the list of Ice Cream Shop Life Lessons.

Yuck, they're just awkward when covered with chocolate, but the ice cream makes them inedible.

Which just made me wonder, can you freeze a marshmallow? I'm going to find out!

Gummi Bears are a stand-alone treat. I was watching a food challenge on TV and one of the chefs tried to blitz those poor little things in a food processor. It didn't harm them in the least, it wasn't unlike a Great America ride for Gummis!

i find chocolate covered strawberries to be very disappointing. I don't get why chicks are so in love with chocolate covered strawberries. The sweetness of the strawberry completely overpowers all that's good and great about chocolate. It's a bad, bad match. Chocolate becomes an afterthought in this combo. What's the point consuming all those calories then? Let us leave chocolate alone in the role its meant to play and that's of primary taste satisfaction. The other night I had chocolate ice cream covered with chocolate sauce, chocolate sprinkies and oreos. It was yummy. No strawberries in sight to screw things up.

Try melting peanut butter in with the chocolate before dipping the strawberries. nom.

It also makes the chocolate more pliable and less likely to crack and fall off when bitten into. I'm sure Tom knows a word for this.
